William Braund's sail loft...
The Loft was originally used by William Braund and his team to repair sails for the boats from the local velator - later converted into a workshop for Braunds Blinds and then falling into disrepair.

By the time we purchased Braunds in 2019, it was beautiful (in our opinion!) with stone walls and West Country slate roof tiles, but had huge holes in the roof, green crooked walls and floors that were rotting away.

With the help of sympathetic, talented Architects the plans came together quickly and a new beginning began to take shape for Braunds...
